A native of Limerick, Ray worked in Cancer care as a Radiation Therapist In Galway University Hospital before returning to study Dentistry at University College Cork. Ray graduated with an Honours degree in Dentistry, and was also recognised for his passion for Endodontics (Root canal treatment) receiving an award from the American Association of Endodontics for his work in root canal therapy. Ray enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry.
Ray is an experienced Invisalign® Provider, why not book in for a free consultation to see if Invisalign® is an option for you. When not working Ray enjoys travel and photography and running, and is very happy to be living back in the west of Ireland.
Dr Kieran Cox BDS

Special interest in Orthodontics
Dr Kieran Cox BDS joined the Tuam Dental team in Sept 2014 having recently returned from a busy general practice in London where he gained extensive experience in areas such as root canal treatments and crowns. A graduate of Trinity College, he is a caring dentist and is happy to treat nervous patients.
Kieran keeps up with the latest developments in dentistry by attending lectures regularly and recently completed part 1 of the MJDF (Member of the Joint Dental Faculties) examinations. Kieran is also currently doing a MSC in Orthodontics at the University of Warwick. He has completed his Diploma in orthodontics and is proud to be offering braces to his patients.
Outside of dentistry Kieran enjoys playing gaelic football for Boyle GAA club and won a county intermediate football medal in 2013, he also played gaelic football for Trinity College during his time there.
Dr Meabh O’Brien BDS

Meabh graduated from University College Cork with an honours degree in Dental Surgery. Meabh is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and has completed courses in composite restorations and bonding ( white fillings) , facial aesthetics and Invisalign® treatment. Meabh has passion for working with children and nervous patients, her kind and caring manner will put even the most nervous patient as ease.
In 2017, Meabh volunteered with Dental Outreach in Nepal and provided emergency and preventative dental care in the Himalayan village of Tistung. Although a Limerick native, Meabh loves living in Galway and has a great appreciation for the Galwegian artistic culture. Meabh also enjoys keeping up her Gaeilge agus is breá léi deighleáil le daoine trí mheán na Gaeilge
Sinead Horan RDH
Hygienist
Sinead qualified from the Glasgow Dental Hospital in June 1992. She won the Ash Prize for best clinical student. She has worked in the public sector in Laois and Offaly, before moving to Galway where she has worked in various private practices.
Sinead joined the Tuam Dental team in January 2003 She has completed further courses in local anaesthesia and health promotion. She is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association and attends their annual meeting.
Annette Crisham RDH
Dental Hygienist
Annette joined Tuam Dental in 2019. Having worked in Galway and the surrounding area over the last no of years. Annette originally graduated as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital, she then went on to work in maxfacs department in St James Hospital. Annette then moved to the US and where she under took further training and courses working in the UCSF Dental school in San Francisco.
A return home saw her move to Cork where she attended UCC to train to be a Dental Hygienist. When not at work Annette is busy taking care of her 2 children, and enjoys socialising and walking and is know to indulge in the odd bit of online shopping,
